GETTING TO LAWRENCE

A shuttle from Kansas City International Airport to Lawrence is available through Five Guys Transportation service. A one-way trip from MCI to Lawrence through Five Guys costs approximately USD $100.

Those driving themselves to Lawrence may wish to take the following route via I–435 S and I–70 W:

  1. Get on I–29 N/I–435 W from Winan Rd, Lisbon Ave and Mexico City Ave
  2. Follow I–435 S and I–70 W to Douglas County. Take exit 204 from I–70 W
  3. Take US–40 W/US–59 S to your destination

Participants are advised to obtain their own personal health and travel insurance for their trip.

LETTER OF INVITATION

VISITOR VISAS

Guests arriving from nations not participating in the United States’ Visa Waiver Program will need a visitor visa in order to enter the country. Guests needing a visa are encouraged to address the issue early as wait times may amount to several weeks at some locations. Guests from Waiver Program nations will need to apply for entrance electronically. Additional information on visitor visas is available on the U.S. State Department website.
